The Clippers

So the tape's coming out in about two weeks now, so i figured i'd put up some little "features" or whatever on some of the bands from the compilation.

Side A starts with everyones favorite new two-piece The Clippers.
Before i knew who was in this band, the vocals sounded immediately familiar. It didn't even take the whole minute and a half the song played to piece together that the voice belonged to Josh Croteau who i'd seen a couple years ago play a series of acoustic shows in overly smokey living rooms. Ruled then, Rules now.
The Clippers only came together in the last five months when Josh started playing with drummer Al Dubois who lived down the street and had just gotten back from a tour with Coerced. They've already recorded and put out a five song, 3" cd via local PRGNT RECORDS, and played a good bunch of shows at the usual show spots.

These dudes just recorded again and are putting out a split with Chicago's Coping through Topshelf Records as well as a few two week long tours in March down to Texas.
Look out for these dudes, the funnest new little pop band from down the street, and check out O'Briens on February 19th to see them with the Young Adults and Bozmo
